The Floc Box is a self-contained, mobile stormwater treatment system designed and developed by Friendly Environment, a pollution-control manufacturer based in Shelbyville, TN. The Floc Box uses a combination of flocculation, settling and filtration to improve water quality in sediment laden construction-related stormwater. Anionic polyacrylamide is used to promote the formation of flocculants, larger particles that settle at a faster rate. Jute/coir filter media is utilized to capture the particles.
